Biffy Clyro heeft vandaag de nieuwe single ‘A Hunger In Your Haunt’ uitgebracht. Het is de tweede track van het nog te verschijnen album ‘The Myth Of The Happily Ever After’ dat op 22 oktober uitkomt. De nieuwe plaat is een reactie op Biffy Clyro’s laatste album A Celebration Of Endings’ en op het veelbewogen afgelopen jaar. Op ‘The Myth Of The Happily Ever After’ laat de Schotse rockband de andere kant van de medaille horen nadat het optimisme begin 2020 tot een halt werd geroepen. Dit album is het resultaat van leven in een vreemde en wrede tijd.
Simon Neil: “This is a reaction to ‘A Celebration of Endings. This album is a real journey, a collision of every thought and emotion we’ve had over the past eighteen months. There was a real fortitude in ‘A Celebration’ but in this record we’re embracing the vulnerabilities of being a band and being a human in this twisted era of our lives. Even the title is the polar opposite.
