Amy Macdonald – Fire

‘Fire’ is de nieuwe single van Amy MacDonald en het openingsnummer van ‘The human demands’, haar verse album. ‘Fire’ is geproduceerd Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian).  “It was the first song I wrote after getting married, in Las Vegas of all places,” aldus Amy. “I was co-writing with a friend Matt Jones, and we had the song finished in half an hour. I was so happy at the time, just married, that I came up with something that isn’t typical of me at all. I said to my husband: this is the only song you’ll ever get out of me, so enjoy it.” De clip voor ‘Fire’ is geregisseerd door Jackson Ducasse.  De Schotse zangeres brak in 2008 wereldwijd door met ‘This is the life’, dat in de Nederlandse Top Veertig de 1^e plaats behaalde.
