ABC – Viva Love

Hoera! They`re back! ABC brengt op vrijdag 27 mei het nieuwe album “The Lexicon Of Love II” uit. De eerste single van de plaat heet VIVA LOVE. Het nieuwe album telt 10 tracks en komen allemaal uit de koker van ABC’s frontman Martin Fry. Je kent de band, die in de eighties veel succes scoorde, van hits als POISON ARROW en THE LOOK OF LOVE. De video van VIVA LOVE is geregisseerd door Julien Temple in de Theatre Royal in Stratford East. Daar werd ook de clip van POISON ARROW ooit opgenomen. Martin Fry vertelt over ‘The Lexicon Of Love II’: “We performed a show at the Albert Hall a couple of years ago to mark the 30th anniversary of ‘The Lexicon of Love’. It struck me there and then that it was time to make a sequel. To explore those themes once again and to look at love through the eyes of a man in later life. Now the years have passed, my perspective on life and love has changed. I wanted to make an album that reflected that.”
