Goed nieuws voor de fans van The Cure! Frontman Robert Smith heeft bevestigd, dat de band, bekend van hits als “Friday I`m In Love”, “A Forest”, “Lullaby” en “Why Can`t I Be You” werkt aan een comeback album. Het is ruim tien jaar geleden dat hun laatste plaat verscheen. “Seeing all these new bands—I’ve listened to some of these bands and met so many of them that it’s kind of inspired me to do something new,” zegt hij. “So, yes, we’re going in about six weeks’ time to finish off what will be our first album in more than a decade. It’s very exciting times for us all around.” The Cure is één van de bands, die worden toegevoegd aan de Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
