Australië heeft grote plannen voor het Eurovisie Songfestival in 2018! Jessica Mauboy zal naar Lissabon afreizen om het land down under te vertegenwoordigen. De 28 jarige zangeres is top of the bill in Australië. Zo werd ze al bekroond met 7 platina albums en 13 platina singles. Voor haar laatste single FALLIN’ kreeg ze er maar liefst 2 uitgereikt. In 2014 stond de zangeres trouwens al op het podium van het Eurovisie Songfestival als interval-act. Jessica Mauboy over haar deelname: “Eurovision is a wonderfully joyous and unique event. It brings together over 40 diverse countries and cultures under one roof to unite us all in music. It shows how much the power of song can transcend differences.
