Het heeft bloed, zweet en tranen gekost, maar John Mayer dropt nieuwe muziek : “This is the longest I’ve gone in the incubation process of a record,” aldus Mayer in de Capital Studio`s, waar hij honderden uren gewerkt heeft aan het album “The Search For Everything”. Maar het resultaat mag er zijn! De plaat komt in waves naar de fans. Zoals bijvoorbeeld zijn nieuwe single. Titel van de track is MOVING ON AND GETTING OVER, dat deze week nieuw binnenkomt in de TIP 40 van Hitzound. Over de eerste EP meldt Mayer: “The price of admission is four songs. If you don’t like these, don’t get the next four. But if i’ve engendered some kind of trust that you think i’m onto something, get the next four, and come along with me on every single wave.” Pure pop, deze nieuwe Mayer!
